How does the process of creating woodgrain coatings work?

The film is tightly wrapped around the element, and then the whole thing is placed in a heated oven. Under the influence of high temperature (about 200°C) and vacuum, the pigments from the printed film sublimate – they go into a gaseous state and penetrate the powder paint layer. In this way, the wood pattern is permanently transferred to the metal surface. After a certain annealing time, the item is removed from the oven and the transfer film is removed, revealing the resulting wood-like pattern. Thanks to this advanced method (sublimation of the pattern from a special film), the coating acquires authentic wood grains and shades, and the effect is very realistic.
Curing and quality control:
After applying the woodgrain pattern, the elements are subjected to final hardening (if technologically required) and gradual cooling. Thus fixed coating is characterized by high resistance to mechanical and atmospheric factors. The final step is a detailed quality control. We check whether the surface is perfectly finished, free of defects and whether the pattern has been reproduced as expected. Only after positive verification does the finished product go to the customer.
